This video shows our Amur Leopard mum, Xizi, with her first set of cubs, Argun & Anuy showing off their 'flying' and 'wrestling' skills in and out of their fire hose hammock. The boys were 23-25 weeks old in this video, so the present cubs have time to catch up on their hammock skills!

The kittens are still working on developing the typical Pallas Cat 'jumpy' movements. They are also working on their little mouthing actions, but it is still silent so far, rather than the little mumbling sound they should make when they do it.

This video shows our very proud Amur Tiger mum, Ronja, with her three 19-week old cubs. The girls had an exciting day watching their pool being filled up with water. Just like any kids who see hose pipes and a pool; you have to make sure everyone involved gets very, very wet! After a slow start at their investigations of this cold, wet water, which proved too much for their curiosity to ignore, they very soon were happily getting as wet as they could, splashing as much water over as big an area as they could reach...and then going to give mum, Ronja, a big hug!

The Big Cat Sanctuary is set in the heart of the countryside at Smarden in Kent. The peace and tranquillity of the site provides a sanctuary and excellent conditions for the successful breeding of the beautiful, yet endangered cats both large and small within the European Endangered Species Breeding.
